Certificate of Airworthiness

A Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A) is required for the aircraft as an attestation that the aircraft has been maintained in accordance with an approved aircraft maintenance program, and is in compliance with applicable airworthiness and safety requirements as stipulated in the Civil Aviation (Airworthiness) Regulations .

In addition, the aircraft must have a type certificate that has been accepted by the Authority in accordance with the Civil Aviation (Airworthiness) Regulations.

The certificates of airworthiness are classified as follows—

  1. A certificate of airworthiness;
  2. A restricted certificate of airworthiness in the form of a restricted certificate;
  3. A special flight permit; and
  4. Export certificate of airworthiness.

To apply for a C of A Issue and Renewal, please complete form Form AC-AWS002A , Form AC-AWS002B, Form AC- AWS002C and submit to the Authority Registry Office,Tower A Ground Floor.

To apply for a Special Flight Permit, please complete form Form AC-AWS004-1 and submit to the Authority Registry Office,Tower A Ground Floor.

To apply for an Export C of A, please complete form Form AC-AWS004-2 and submit to the Authority Registry Office,Tower A Ground Floor.

To apply for a Restricted C of A, please complete form Form AC-AWS004-3 and submit to the Authority Registry Office,Tower A Ground Floor.
