Kenya is actively participating in the ongoing ICAO Conference on Alternative Aviation fuels(CAAF/3) in Dubai .  Through working paper presented for discussion by the meeting today, Kenya is seeking for adoption of Aviation policies that target to de-risk private investment in sustainable aviation fuels to scale up the current levels of production that are very low with production and supplies having limited geographical representation .  Kenya’s working paper similarly calls for ICAO to pursue financing options for SAF to support African States in the development and transition to cleaner energy for Aviation. Ms. Charity Musila-Alt. Representative of Kenya to ICAO  and Mr. Francis Mwangi -Vice Chair of ICAO committee on Aviation Environmental protection are representing Kenya in CAAF/3.
