Kenya Participates in ICAO 2021 High-level Conference on COVID-19 Making his intervention during the Ministerial Plenary discussions, the Director General KCAA, Capt. Gilbert Kibe observed that the Council Aviation Recovery Taskforce (CART) recommendations and supporting guidance were a good start towards the restart and recovery of aviation industry.

Capt. Kibe further remarked that more work needed to be done to achieve harmonization of rules and procedures towards opening up International travel opportunities for all and ensuring resiliency of the Aviation industry. The conference adopted a Ministerial declaration by acclamation demonstrating solidarity and determination for recovery from to steer the industry into its sustainable future.
