Draft Civil Aviation Regulations, 2022

Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) is established as the regulator of the Aviation Industry in Kenya under the Civil Aviation Act, 2013 (as amended). In regulation of the aviation industry KCAA facilitates the adoption of International Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) issued for global uniformity and regularity in air navigation. In compliance with the provision of the Statutory Instruments Act, 2013, and after comprehensive stakeholder engagement conducted on the draft Civil Aviation Regulations, KCAA has published on its website (www.kcaa.or.ke) the final draft regulations in completion of the stakeholder engagement process.

Stakeholders are requested to review the draft regulations and be informed of the changes in regulations including the considerations of their input. The draft regulations shall remain available on the KCAA website for seven days from the date of this notice during which any concerns should be raised with the Authority on or before 24 April, 2022 vide email: kcars2021@kcaa.or.ke or info@kcaa.or.ke.
